Dear Fellow Garden Enthusiast,

Mark your calendars for Saturday March 31 and Sunday, April 1, for Zilker Garden Festival 2001 at the beautiful Zilker Botanical Garden in Austin, TX. We are looking forward to this year's event and are already hard at work to make it a success.

First I would like to introduce myself, Joyce McKean, as the new Exhibitor and Vendor chair for Zilker Garden Festival 2001 and my co-chair, Debra Mischel. We will be taking over the duties of Ken LaRond. I hope that we can continue to make the Garden Festival run as smoothly as Ken has for all these years. We look forward to working with you to make this the best Zilker Garden Festival ever.

Sales Booth Information Three sales areas are available: the front green space by the Zilker Garden entrance, the parking lot, or any area in the garden could be utilized. Our spaces fill up fast so please return the reservation form early to guarantee a spot. Booth Cost: 10'x10' space is $125.00, each additional adjacent space is $100.00, if payment is received by March 1,2001. After March 1,2001: 10'x10' space is $150.00, each additional space is $125.00. (Note: some spaces may have irregular shapes due to terrain.) Electricity: Electrical hook-up $35.00. Electricity is only available in the parking lot area. Tables: $15.00 each (6'x30") Chairs: $5.00 each (folding metal)

Deadlines for Booth Reservations To assure booth reservation and a listing in the Zilker Garden Festival Vendor Directory, please return the enclosed Registration form by March 1,2001 to reserve booth space at $125.00. Reservations received after March 1,2001 will be subject to $25.00 late fee. Be sure to include your check for the full amount due. (If you have already paid a $25.00 deposit to reserve a space, please subtract that amount from the balance due.) Reservations received by March 1st will receive a confirmation no later than March 15th. Reservations received after March 1st will receive a confirmation, within 10 to 15 days. No refunds will be made for cancellations after March 15,2001. Our 8000+ attendees are serious shoppers and will be out regardless of weather; no refund will be made in the event of inclement weather.

Set Up Procedures Exhibitors will be able to set up their sales area on Friday, march 30, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, April 1, from 8:00 AM till 9:30 AM. No vehicles will be allowed inside the gate after 9:30 AM on Saturday. Vendors are urged to set up on Friday to ease the congestion on Saturday morning, but we will be happy to accommodate you either day. The show will be open to the public from 10:00 Am to 6:00PM both Saturday and Sunday. A security fence surrounds the Gardens, and security officers will be provided for the sales areas on Friday and Saturday nights.

Vendor Parking All vendor and volunteers will park in a special area off Stratford Drive. Cart rides will be available to the Garden Center and sales area. This allows more customers to park in the main parking lot on Barton Springs Road. We will provide a map and more detailed directions with your confirmation material.

Entering the Festival After Zilker Garden Festival opens on Saturday all vendors will be asked to use the entrance gate off of Stratford Drive. In the event you must exit out the front gate, a gate pass must be obtained form the information booth. You will only be given one gate pass per vendor badge shown. Vendor badge and gate pass must be presented to re-enter the front gate. Gate pass must be surrendered to the ticket attendant when re-entering festival.
