Austin Rose Society members can advise you on the best varieties for our area, both modern and antique, how to get started, how to keep your roses (and the environment) healthy and thriving, and how get more help!

Purpose

The Austin Rose Society is an educational, non-profit organization dedicated to the cultivation of roses in the Austin area. We are a local chapter of the national American Rose Society. We are affiliated with the Austin Area Garden Council and the Royal National Rose Society of England.

Membership

Membership is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about roses.

Annual Dues @ $12.50 per person

Associate membership (same household) @ $4.00 per person

American Rose Society membership @ $32.00 per person ($30.00 if age 65 or over)


Austin Rose Society members enjoy:

The Austin Rose Society Journal, the monthly newsletter of the Society, containing information on rose horticulture and news of interest to people who grow roses.

Monthly programs on all htmlects of growing and enjoying roses.

Garden tours, demonstrations, workshops and the opportunity to learn rose care by working side-by-side with experienced rosarians in Austin's Mabel Davis Rose Garden in Zilker Park.

Assistance from the Consulting Rosarians, knowledgeable individuals who are qualified to answer any rose growing question.

Good fellowship with a friendly group of people of all ages and backgrounds who share an interest in growing beautiful roses.
